Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Valitura LLC (“Valitura,” “we,” “us” or “our”) handles personal information collected through valitura.com (the “Site”) and when you contact us. Valitura LLC, 1065 SW 8th Street, Suite 5579, Miami, FL 33130, USA, is responsible for that information.
Information we handle for clients as part of a security engagement is governed by our written agreement with that client, not by this policy.
The short version
The Site is a static website. It has no user accounts, no contact forms, no analytics, no advertising trackers and no cookies of our own. We learn about you only when you choose to contact us, and from the basic technical data any web server needs to deliver a page and keep it safe.
Information we collect
When you contact us. If you email or call us, we receive what you send: typically your name, email address, phone number, organization, job title and the content of your message.
When you visit the Site. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data needed to deliver and protect the Site: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, the referring page, and the date and time of each request. This data is used to serve the Site, block attacks and abuse, and diagnose problems. We do not use it to profile visitors.
Cookies. We do not set cookies and do not use tracking pixels or similar technologies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie (such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance) when it needs to tell people apart from automated bots. These cookies do not track you across websites, and because they are strictly necessary, no consent banner is required.
From other sources. We may receive business contact details about you from referrals, partners, events or public professional sources such as LinkedIn, when you or your organization are a prospective or current client or partner.
How we use it
We use personal information to:
- respond to your inquiries, schedule calls and provide information you ask for;
- prepare proposals and carry out and manage our relationship with clients and partners;
- operate, secure and improve the Site, including detecting and blocking malicious traffic;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce or defend our legal rights.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use it to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Albania or another place with similar law, we rely on these legal bases: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, or performing one; our legitimate interests in running and securing our business and responding to inquiries; and compliance with legal obligations.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that help us run the Site and our business, such as website hosting and security (Cloudflare), email and productivity tools, and professional advisers. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Our team in Tirana, Albania (VALITURA, our affiliated company), where needed to respond to you or deliver our services.
- Authorities and others when required by law, or when needed to protect the rights, property or safety of Valitura, our clients or others.
- A successor in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business, subject to this policy.
International transfers
We are based in the United States and also operate from Albania, and our service providers may process information in other countries. Where the law requires it, we protect transfers with appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence and business contact details for as long as needed for the purpose we collected them, typically for the length of our business relationship plus any period required for legal, tax or accounting reasons. Cloudflare keeps request and security logs for a limited period under its own retention settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including California and other U.S. states with privacy laws, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Albania, you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete your information;
- object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent where we rely on it;
- receive your information in a portable format.
To make a request, email legal@valitura.com. We will verify your request before acting on it and respond within the time the law requires. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Albania, you may also complain to your local data protection authority. In Albania, that is the Commissioner for the Right to Information and Personal Data Protection.
Security
We protect personal information with technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity, including keeping the Site free of databases and logins that could expose it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
The Site links to websites we do not control, including our partners’ sites and our software products’ sites. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date, and where changes are significant we will make that clear on the Site.
